Shreya Mahanot

“She doesn’t just craft relics — she resurrects time through the spiral of a single paper pipe.”

Shreya Mahanot

Shreya Mahanot is a revivalist of forgotten grace.

The only artist in the world known for creating weaved vintage cars entirely from hand-rolled paper pipes, she turns the fragile into the eternal.

Her art isn't decoration — it's evidence that memory lives.
She is also a diamond assorter and grader, and the mind behind Relic Diaries, where silence meets ink.

Her Journey

Born with hands that saw beauty in stillness, Shreya grew up shaping relics out of the overlooked — paper, memory, emotion. While other children played, she observed form, texture, and time.

Her first relic was not built.
It was remembered.

Over the years, her mastery evolved — not through machines, but through reverence. She didn't learn her art from books.
She let time teach her.

Her Soulwork: The Weaved Vintage Car

No artist before her had dreamed of sculpting vintage cars from woven paper pipes. Shreya did.

Each car is composed of 50 to 80 uniquely shaped parts.
Each part is rolled, cut, twisted, and placed by hand.
No molds. No shortcuts. No mass production.

She calls them “Relics” — because they carry the elegance of a bygone era, frozen in a new medium. From spoke to trunk, every pipe is a breath of silence brought to life.

The Diamond Eye

As a certified diamond assorter and grader, Shreya brings a precision most eyes miss. Where others see color, she sees undertone. Where others see shape, she sees weight, balance, light.

This skill doesn't stay in the gem world.
It flows into her relics — every curve exact, every detail intentional. Her eye is trained for truth.

Relic Diaries: The Written Companion

Beyond her hands, Shreya’s mind speaks through ink.
She authors Relic Diaries, a poetic collection of reflections, processes, and artistic philosophy. These aren’t just blogs — they’re meditations.

She writes not to explain her work — but to immortalize its soul.

"Relics aren’t just built. They’re whispered into form."
— Excerpt from Relic Diaries

Her Vision

 Shreya Mahanot isn’t building art.
She’s reviving memory — with materials the world throws away.

She believes that objects can have soul.
That beauty is not just visual, but visceral.
That silence, when shaped with intention, can outlast sound.
